At the meeting, Mr. Ngo Van Thach, representing households in the Go Dinh resettlement area in Dai My village (Dai Hung commune, Dai Loc), presented a petition on the fact that 10 households have not received support when relocating to resettlement areas at risk of landslides since 2020.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung emphasized that the principle of support must be for the right subjects, ensuring legal regulations, and at the same time ensuring fairness. Even in cases where support has been provided to the wrong subjects, it must be revoked to ensure regulations and fairness before the law.
A representative of Dai Loc district government said that the district will work and report to the province no later than June 24 about the households' petition.

Representatives of functional sectors said that the people's petition is completely legitimate, so it is necessary to quickly review and support the people if ensuring the right subjects and regulations.
Listening to citizens' petitions and opinions of local authorities and departments, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung said that the responsibility of the locality in implementing regulations on support for resettlement and arrangement of residents in disaster areas was not timely, lacked transparency, and created frustration among the people, which was not really responsible and required serious lessons to be learned.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung assigned the Dai Loc District People's Committee to inspect, review and determine whether the household groups are eligible for support according to regulations or not, report and be responsible to the Provincial People's Committee and relevant agencies for the review results on June 24. Based on the identification of beneficiaries, the District People's Committee must pay support money (if eligible according to regulations), ensuring fairness and objectivity.
The departments and branches assigned tasks based on the report of Dai Loc District People's Committee advise the Provincial People's Committee to support the locality to resolve. The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee monitors and supervises the implementation of the resolution to ensure it is timely, complete, in accordance with regulations and fair, without causing dissatisfaction to the people.
