The National Advisory Council on Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation was established by the Central Steering Committee on Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation and launched on May 29.

The Central Steering Committee also decided that Mr. Le Hoai Trung, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office, would be the Chairman of the Advisory Council; Mr. Pham Gia Tuc, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Chief of the Party Central Committee Office, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Advisory Council; Mr. Ngo Hai Phan, Director of the Department of Digital Transformation - Cryptography, Office of the Party Central Committee, would be the Standing Member of the Advisory Council.
