Focus on the role of innovation in sustainable energy development

(DN) - On the afternoon of September 18, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Department of Innovation (Ministry of Science and Technology) organized the Energy Innovation Forum 2025. Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai province Vo Hoang Khai attended the forum.

The event is an in-depth activity to promote the role of science , technology and innovation in the energy transition journey, contributing to ensuring energy security and sustainable national development.

The forum program includes 2 sessions. The thematic discussion session with many updated topics such as: Solutions to ensure national energy security until 2030, vision to 2045; financial mechanisms for energy innovation in Vietnam; digital energy transformation: models, data and sustainable innovation; green transformation and emission data analysis tools...

In addition, there was also a discussion session with the participation of representatives of ministries, branches, experts and businesses with the theme "Accompanying innovation - Joining hands to transform the national energy".

Speaking at the forum, Deputy Director of the Department of Innovation Pham Viet Hong emphasized: The Energy Innovation Forum 2025 is held in a particularly important context when the Politburo has just issued Resolution No. 70-NQ/TW on ensuring national energy security until 2030, with a vision to 2045; the National Assembly has passed the Law on Science, Technology and Innovation. In addition, the National Energy Development Strategy until 2030, with a vision to 2045, is being vigorously implemented. These are major orientations, creating a new legal foundation and driving force for the country's energy transition and sustainable development.
