Linh Long Pagoda organizes the Buddha's Birthday celebration.

On May 29th (corresponding to the 13th day of the 4th lunar month), Linh Long Pagoda (Yen Bai ward) held the Grand Buddha's Birthday Celebration, Buddhist calendar 2570 - Gregorian calendar 2026.

Attending the event were members of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Association of the province; representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, the Provincial Labor Union, local authorities, and a large number of monks, nuns, Buddhists, and people from within and outside the province.

Buddha's Birthday is one of the three major Buddhist holidays of the year (Buddha's Birthday, Ullambana, and Enlightenment Day). It is celebrated annually according to Buddhist tradition to commemorate the birth of the Buddha; it is also an occasion for monks, nuns, and Buddhists to express their gratitude and respect for the Buddha through the practice of Buddhist teachings.

At the Buddha's Birthday celebration at Linh Long Pagoda, delegates, monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers listened to the Buddha's Birthday message, speeches, and the significance of the Buddha's Birthday celebration in the Buddhist calendar year 2570.

Leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province presented flowers to congratulate Linh Long Pagoda.

The Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Association of the province presented flowers to congratulate Linh Long Pagoda.

On this occasion, the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Association of the province, representatives of the Party Committee, the government, as well as departments, organizations and associations of the province and Yen Bai ward presented flowers to congratulate Linh Long Pagoda.

Venerable Thich Trung Kinh - Deputy Head of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Association of the province, abbot of Linh Long Pagoda, along with other delegates, performed the ritual of bathing the Buddha on his birthday.

Also at the ceremony, delegates along with hundreds of monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers performed rituals of offering incense, bathing the Buddha statue, and releasing balloons to pray for peace, well-being, and happiness for the people.
