The heatwave in the North has intensified again.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting predicts a return of hot weather to the North after a period of showers and thunderstorms, with the highest temperature in Hanoi potentially reaching 36°C.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on May 31st, Northern Vietnam and Thanh Hoa to Da Nang City will experience hot and humid weather both day and night; scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected in the late afternoon and evening.

Specifically for Hanoi on May 31st, there will be no rain, sunny days, and some areas will experience hot weather; temperatures will range from 29-33 degrees Celsius in the morning and at noon, and from 32-35 degrees Celsius in the afternoon and evening.

Meanwhile, throughout May 31st, both day and night, Southern Vietnam and Lam Dong province will continue to experience moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms, with some areas experiencing very heavy rainfall of 30-80mm, and some areas exceeding 150mm.

Around June 3-5, the Northern region is likely to experience widespread heatwaves with a sharp increase in temperature. In the Central region, around June 2-3, there is a possibility of widespread heatwaves, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night.
