Over the past period, the collaborative model between specialized hospitals and social welfare centers in Ho Chi Minh City has brought many humanitarian values to the healthcare of disadvantaged children. Beyond supporting medical examinations and treatment, these collaborative programs have also contributed to spreading the spirit of sharing, helping many children in special circumstances access better healthcare services.

Doctors and medical staff collaborated to examine and care for children at social welfare centers in Ho Chi Minh City, spreading the spirit of sharing for vulnerable children.
At the Go Vap Children's Welfare and Protection Center, from early morning, doctors and nurses were busy preparing to examine nearly 200 children ranging from newborns to 18 years old. Many children suffer from conditions such as congenital disabilities, hydrocephalus, developmental delays, and difficulties in daily life. During the examination, doctors conducted health checks, assessed motor function, provided nutritional advice, and suggested appropriate rehabilitation plans for each case.
According to Ms. Nguyen Kim Loan, Deputy Head of the Nursing Department at the Go Vap Children's Nurturing and Protection Center, the nursing staff are always dedicated to caring for the children, and are also guided in physical therapy exercises to better support them. Ms. Cam Phuc Nhan, M.Sc., from the Rehabilitation Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Hospital for Rehabilitation and Occupational Disease Treatment, stated that the collaborative program also provides additional physical therapy equipment and is expected to continue until 2030.
