The exhibition Ho Chi Minh – Symbol of the era, a bridge of friendship between Vietnam and Thailand is the highlight of a series of events in Thailand, opening on August 28, 2025.
The exhibition introduces more than 250 documents, images and documentary films about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh. In particular, the exhibition introduces in full and detail the time Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh worked in Thailand on the journey to find a way to save the country and liberate the nation. In any historical period, he always built and fostered the solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Thailand.
80 panels of images and documents on display include 5 main contents: Journey to find a way to save the country and its mark in Thailand; Leader of national liberation, building independence (1930-1945); Leading the people to build the country and protect national independence (1945-1969); Ho Chi Minh with international solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Thailand; Ho Chi Minh lives forever in the hearts of the Vietnamese people, international friends and the Vietnamese community in Thailand.

Many valuable images and documents are introduced, such as images and documents about the time Uncle Ho worked in Thailand (1928-1929), historical sites, places where he stopped and lived with the Vietnamese community in Udon Thani, Nakhon Phanom, Sakon Nakhon...
Documents and images of Uncle Ho's activities in Thailand and Southeast Asia; the process of Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh preparing and leading the August Revolution, establishing the Democratic Republic of Vietnam; documents, letters, and appeals of President Ho Chi Minh to compatriots and overseas Vietnamese, including overseas Vietnamese in Thailand.
In addition, there are images and documents about President Ho Chi Minh's diplomatic activities, building friendship with people of other countries, including Thailand; images of Thai delegations visiting Vietnam, visiting the Presidential Palace Relic Site; paintings, photos, documents about Ho Chi Minh relics and statues in Thailand...
On this occasion, the Presidential Palace Relic Site also coordinated to organize activities such as planting souvenir trees, donating Uncle Ho's Bookcase; and discussing professional expertise at Uncle Ho's Relic Sites in the two provinces of Udon Thani and Nakhon Phanom.

On this occasion, the Presidential Palace Relic Site continued to meet historical witnesses who were involved in Uncle Ho's activities in Thailand, recorded witness testimonies, and collected photos and documents related to President Ho Chi Minh and Thailand.
At the same time, meet generations who have served at the Monuments of Ho Chi Minh in Thailand; exchange information and documents about Uncle Ho's legacy at the two Monuments of Ho Chi Minh in Pichit, Udon Thani and Nakhon Phanom.
Over nearly half a century since the establishment of diplomatic relations (1976 - 2025), Vietnam - Thailand relations have developed well in all fields, becoming a "strategic partnership", friendly and comprehensive cooperation.
The Vietnamese community in Thailand is estimated at about 100,000 people, mainly concentrated in the northeastern provinces. The community has a revolutionary and patriotic tradition, respects President Ho Chi Minh, and has made many contributions to the cause of national liberation and nation building.
The series of activities contributed to helping the Thai people better understand President Ho Chi Minh, the country and people of Vietnam; helping the Vietnamese community in Thailand love their homeland more and thereby, tightening the solidarity, friendship and understanding between the people of Vietnam and Thailand.
