On the evening of October 11, at Thong Nhat Hall, the Gala Program "October Meeting" with the theme "Believe in yourself" and honoring 10 inspirational entrepreneurs in 2023 was organized by Saigon Entrepreneur Magazine.
Speaking at the opening of the Program, Editor-in-Chief of Saigon Entrepreneur Magazine Tran Hoang expressed that for the past 19 years, every October, entrepreneurs in Ho Chi Minh City and the whole country have been excited to organize activities to celebrate the proud traditional day and remember the profound historical day when President Ho Chi Minh sent a letter to the Vietnamese business community on October 13, 1945 and remember the late Prime Minister Phan Van Khai who signed Decision No. 990/QD-TTg on September 20, 2004, taking October 13 every year as Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day.
Saigon Entrepreneur Magazine organized the program “October Meeting” and honored 10 inspirational entrepreneurs in 2023 with the theme “Believe in yourself”. This is an annual activity to honor entrepreneurs with meaningful activities in production, business, and community work. The program also aims to spread the belief and efforts that entrepreneurs have made in the past year, as well as encourage and accompany entrepreneurs on the journey to contribute together to Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam's development.
Mr. Tran Hoang hopes that this year's "October Meeting" program will continue to accompany and inspire the confidence of each entrepreneur and business in themselves, in the path and mission that they are pursuing. Especially, the belief in the orientation and policies of the Government and the City will open up a bright future for the country's economy in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular.
The entrepreneurs honored at the program are those who have heart - talent - intelligence - credibility to affirm the position, prestige and brand of the business in the domestic and international markets. Besides economic activities, entrepreneurs also contribute a lot to society through sponsorship activities, sharing the joys and sorrows with the unfortunate. The strength for them to overcome is faith: believe in themselves, believe in the Vietnamese economy.
Speaking at the Program, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Duong Anh Duc sent words of encouragement to the team of entrepreneurs and businesses "Believe in yourself" on the occasion of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day October 13.
Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Duong Anh Duc believes that, in addition to the businessmen honored today, there are many other businessmen who have contributed to the city's economy standing firm during the recent difficult times. The team of businessmen in Ho Chi Minh City has continuously grown to fulfill its mission, promote the national spirit, and gradually improve the city's economic position in the country.
Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Duong Anh Duc emphasized that in the current difficult economic context, businessmen are still aware of their mission and value when they try to maintain production and business activities, solve jobs for workers, fulfill tax obligations to the State and community responsibilities. They have united together to overcome the most difficult period since the country's integration.
This was possible because the entrepreneurs believed in their mission and their contributions to the city and the country. The entrepreneurs believed in themselves with sincerity and honesty and gave the most positive energy to the community. That belief increased when the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City committed to always accompany the team of businesses and entrepreneurs.
Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Duong Anh Duc said that the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City share the difficulties of enterprises in the past time and hope that the team of enterprises and entrepreneurs will promote their capacity, dynamism, creativity, overcome difficulties and challenges, and work with the City to achieve and exceed the set targets. The leaders of Ho Chi Minh City committed that within their authority, there will be mechanisms and solutions to help enterprises overcome difficulties and continue to reap success.
Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Duong Anh Duc wished the businessmen good health, to stand firm, overcome difficulties, and reap glory. He also "hoped that Ho Chi Minh City businessmen would promote their achievements, be an inspiration and inspire Vietnamese businessmen in general and the city's businessmen in particular to continue to develop strongly"./.
