Art program "August Symphony"

On the evening of August 16, the Provincial Cultural - Cinema Center organized the art program "August Symphony" to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025).

With the theme “August Symphony”, the art program was staged in 3 parts: Part 1 - Son La revolutionary epic; Part 2 - Back to the memory; Part 3 - Son La aspires to reach far. Artists, actors, and collaborators of the provincial Cultural - Cinema Center brought a unique art program, elaborately staged, combined with sound, light and meaningful themes, making a special impression on the audience.

The program is a story told in an artistic language rich in emotions and unique images, vividly recreating the heroic history of Son La in the resistance war against the French, depicting the silent sacrifices and resounding victories of the Party Committee, government and people of Son La ethnic groups. At the same time, it reflects the strong aspirations of development and growth of the homeland.

Many performances left a deep impression on the audience, such as: The “August Flag” choir, “Son La, the Glorious Road” singing and dancing, “Muong La Baby”, “Fire Line Flowers” dance… The program attracted a large audience, soldiers of the armed forces and people to watch and cheer.

The art program “August Symphony” is a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution, creating opportunities for people to exchange and participate in activities, enriching their spiritual life. At the same time, it spreads the spirit of the August Revolution and patriotism to the people.
