Signing ceremony between Saigontourist Group, Vietnam Airlines , Shanghai Boxi witnessed by National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and senior officials from Vietnam, China, Vietnam Airlines and Saigontourist Group
The event welcomed the presence of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang, government officials of Vietnam and China, along with the participation of representatives of leaders of Vietnamese provinces and cities, major tourism and aviation businesses of Vietnam and China, and media agencies of the two countries. The event was highly appreciated by the leaders of the two countries and the business communities of the two countries.
Mr. Pham Huy Binh, Chairman of Saigontourist Group, said: "In this program to launch Vietnamese destinations in the Chinese market, the company focuses on implementing working contents with leading Chinese partners to promote and connect the development of two-way tourism services between Vietnam and China, especially exploiting opportunities to connect and expand the luxury customer segment and MICE tourists in this billion-people market.
In addition, with two-way marketing promotion activities , Saigontourist Group and Vietnam Airlines signed cooperation agreements with large Chinese enterprises, expected to bring in hundreds of millions of USD in additional revenue for all parties in the near future .
Mr. Dang Ngoc Hoa, Chairman of Vietnam Airlines, said: "Currently, Vietnam Airlines operates flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to destinations in China such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and more than 20 individual airports in China with a total of 66 flights per week.
During the 30-year journey connecting the two countries, Vietnam Airlines has served nearly 12 million passengers and more than 166,000 tons of cargo on flights.
At this event, Saigontourist Group authorized Saigontourist Travel Service Company (a subsidiary of Saigontourist Group) and Vietnam Airlines to sign important cooperation agreements with Chinese partners.
Accordingly, the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between Saigontourist - Vietnam Airlines and Shanghai Boxi Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. includes important contents such as coordinating the implementation of charter flight services provided by Vietnam Airlines to Shanghai Boxi; cooperating in marketing and promoting car rental services to customers; jointly exploiting new charter routes and markets; cooperating in organizing events, festivals, and tourism fairs in Vietnam and China; providing promotional packages of Vietnam Airlines, Saigontourist and Shanghai Boxi for Vietnamese and Chinese tourists.
This cooperation is expected to bring an additional revenue of 150 million USD to the three units in the next 5 years.
Next, at the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between Saigontourist - Vietnam Airlines and Beijing Cosmo Travel International Co.LTD , the participating parties focused on implementing cooperation contents, including charter flight services provided by Vietnam Airlines to Beijing Cosmos Travel International; cooperation in marketing and promoting car rental services to customers; exchange of technical and operational knowledge to improve service quality and efficiency; jointly exploiting new charter routes and markets; cooperating in organizing events, festivals, and tourism fairs in Vietnam and China; providing promotional packages of Vietnam Airlines, Saigontourist and Beijing Cosmos Travel International to Vietnamese and Chinese tourists; and other forms and contents of cooperation according to the needs of the parties.
The partnership is expected to generate an additional $150 million in revenue for the three companies over the next five years.
The signing ceremony between Saigontourist Group, Vietnam Airlines, Bejing Cosmo Travel International was witnessed by National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and senior officials from Vietnam, China, Vietnam Airlines and Saigontourist Group.
Representatives of Saigontourist Group and Vietnam Airlines presented lucky gifts to the winners including Vietnam Airlines air tickets and luxury rooms of Saigontourist Group.
Chinese travel companies trade at Saigontourist Group booth
Following the event in Beijing, on April 10, 2024 in Shanghai, Saigontourist Group participated in meeting partners and promoting its brand at the "Legal Policy Forum to promote economic, investment and trade cooperation between Vietnam and China" co-organized by the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam in coordination with the Shanghai International Trade Promotion Committee (China).
