On July 26, General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member and Minister of National Defense, and his delegation offered incense at several historical sites in Thai Nguyen province.

Also attending were former leaders of the Ministry of National Defense ; leaders of the Ministry of National Defense and Thai Nguyen province.

General Phan Van Giang offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the Memorial House in Deo De, Phu Dinh Commune; offered incense to commemorate General Vo Nguyen Giap at the Pu Don Hill historical site, Phu Dinh Commune; and offered incense at the 27-7 National Historical Site in Dai Phuc Commune.

At the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House, General Phan Van Giang and the delegation respectfully offered incense and flowers, expressed gratitude and vowed to study and follow his ideology, morality and style.

Before his spirit, officers and soldiers of the People's Army vow to unite to build a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern army to meet the requirements of the new situation.

At Pu Don Hill relic site, where President Ho Chi Minh conferred the rank of General on comrade Vo Nguyen Giap in 1948, the delegation also respectfully remembered the great contributions of General Vo Nguyen Giap, who devoted his whole life to the revolutionary cause of the nation.

At the 27-7 National Historical Site, where in 1947 Uncle Ho's letter was announced recognizing the birth of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the delegation respectfully offered incense and flowers to commemorate the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their blood for the independence and freedom of the country.

At the relic sites, the working group pledged to unite, be steadfast in will, overcome difficulties, and successfully complete all assigned tasks.

Also in this working program, General Phan Van Giang and the working delegation visited, encouraged and presented 50 gifts to war invalids and sick soldiers in Phu Dinh commune; presented 50 gifts to policy families and meritorious people in Dai Phuc commune.

At the gift-giving destinations, General Phan Van Giang encouraged, visited and wished that war invalids, sick soldiers, and families of policy beneficiaries continue to overcome difficulties, promote the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, and rise up in life.
