Transferring the Sa Pa Nursing Center for Meritorious People from the Department of Health to the Department of Home Affairs of Lao Cai province for management

Pursuant to Decision No. 1748/QD-UBND dated June 3, 2025 of the People's Committee of Lao Cai province on transferring the Sa Pa Nursing Center for Meritorious People from the Department of Health to the Department of Home Affairs of Lao Cai province under the management, with the consent of the People's Committee of the province, on the afternoon of June 10, 2025, the Department of Home Affairs of Lao Cai province held a Conference to announce the decision to transfer the Sa Pa Nursing Center for Meritorious People from the Department of Health to the Department of Home Affairs of Lao Cai province under the management

Attending the conference were comrade Nguyen Van Son - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs; comrade Nguyen Thi Hong Minh - Deputy Director of the Department of Health ; leaders of Sa Pa General Hospital; leaders of Sa Pa Nursing Center for Meritorious People and all leaders of departments, offices and units under the Department of Home Affairs.

At the Conference, the representative of the Department of Home Affairs announced the Decision of the Chairman of the Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee on transferring the Sa Pa Nursing Center for Meritorious People from the Department of Health to the Department of Home Affairs of Lao Cai province and the Decisions of the Director of the Department of Home Affairs on personnel work. Accordingly, from June 10, 2025, the functions, tasks, organizational structure, payroll, personnel, finance, assets, records, documents, and equipment of the Sa Pa Nursing Center for Meritorious People will be transferred from the Department of Health to the Department of Home Affairs of Lao Cai province. Regarding the organizational structure, the Nursing Center for Meritorious People currently consists of a Director and 01 Deputy Director; 02 professional and technical departments including: Administrative - General Department and Department of Health and Care for Meritorious People.

Speaking at the Conference, comrade Nguyen Van Son - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs highly appreciated the role of the Sa Pa Nursing Center for Meritorious People in the past time, which has always closely followed its tasks, performed well the nursing function, and restored health for those who have contributed to the revolution. At the same time, he also directed and assigned the Center to urgently coordinate with the Department of Health, Sa Pa town, and Sa Pa town General Hospital to review finances and assets to complete the handover, stabilize the organization soon to continue performing its tasks, and not to interrupt.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Dinh Manh Hung - Director of Sa Pa Nursing Center for Meritorious People committed that in his new position, when the Center is officially under the Department of Home Affairs of Lao Cai province, he will strive to innovate its operating methods, strengthen management, and focus on training a team of cadres and civil servants with sufficient capacity and qualities to meet the requirements of the tasks in the new situation. At the same time, he hopes to continue to receive the attention, direction, and facilitation of the leaders of the Department of Home Affairs, Department of Health, and Sa Pa town so that the Center can maintain and ensure its activities and improve the quality of care and nursing, ensuring the best conditions for facilities, health care, and spiritual life for policy beneficiaries.

The transfer of the Sa Pa Nursing Center for Meritorious People from the Department of Health to the Department of Home Affairs of Lao Cai province is the province's policy in accordance with the spirit of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW to create unity in directing and implementing nursing tasks for meritorious people, solving difficulties and problems in the allocation, management and use of funds to ensure compliance with regulations./.
