CAND T&T Table Tennis Club won the Gold Medal of the 2025 National Strong Teams Tournament

With the victory over Hai Phong Club in the final match on the afternoon of September 23, the T&T People's Public Security Table Tennis Club (CAND T&T) won the Gold Medal in the men's team event of the 2025 National Strong Teams Table Tennis Tournament.

Accordingly, in the final match, athletes Dinh Anh Hoang, Le Dinh Duc and Ta Hong Khanh won against athletes from Hai Phong Club, thereby helping CAND T&T Club to have an overwhelming victory of 3-0. Previously, with the same score, CAND T&T Club had defeated the Army Club in the semi-finals.

The women's team final was a competition between Ho Chi Minh City 1 Club and Military 1 Club. Ho Chi Minh City 1 Club won 3-0 thanks to the excellent performance of the three players Mai Hoang My Trang, Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh and Nguyen Bach Thanh Thu. Last year, Ho Chi Minh City 1 Club also won the Gold Medal in this event at the tournament.

The 2025 National Table Tennis Tournament for Strong Teams took place from September 19-28 at Vinh Phuc Gymnasium, Vinh Phuc Ward, Phu Tho Province with the participation of 12 clubs with nearly 130 excellent athletes from across the country, competing in 7 events. Notably, among them are 2 players Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh (Ho Chi Minh City Club) and Nguyen Anh Tu (Hanoi Club) who have just competed in a professional tournament in Kazakhstan.

It is expected that after the 2025 National Strong Team Championship, the Vietnam Table Tennis Team for the 33rd SEA Games will be established. The Vietnam Table Tennis Federation has built a list of 22 players, proposing the Vietnam Sports Department to approve the training plan to prepare for the SEA Games.

For the CAND T&T Club in particular, the Gold Medal in the men's team event at the 2025 National Strong Teams Table Tennis Tournament is the latest achievement to add to the already rich collection of this unit.

Established in 2024 with the core of athletes selected from the CAND Sports Training and Competition Center and the T&T Group Sports Training Center, the CAND T&T Club has continuously achieved success from youth tournaments to national and club tournaments.
