Organizing the largest-ever Con Son-Kiep Bac Autumn Festival

On the afternoon of September 23, the Organizing Committee of the 2025 Con Son-Kiep Bac Autumn Festival in Hai Phong City held a press conference to inform about the festival. Accordingly, the festival will be held on the largest scale ever, lasting for 12 days, from October 1-12 (from August 10-21 of the lunar calendar).

Chairing the press conference, Comrade Nguyen Quang Phuc, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Hai Phong City Party Committee, affirmed: The Con Son-Kiep Bac Autumn Festival in 2025 is the first unique and typical traditional cultural event of Hai Phong city after the merger.

The festival was held on the largest scale ever, the ceremonial and festival activities were "upgraded", ensuring solemnity, in accordance with traditional rituals; the festival space was also expanded.

At the festival, there will also be a ceremony to honor the Yen Tu-Vinh Nghiem-Con Son-Kiep Bac Monuments and Landscape Complex recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage.

The festival focuses on October 7 (August 16 of the lunar calendar), including a series of activities: The 583rd death anniversary of World Cultural Celebrity Nguyen Trai; The 725th death anniversary of National Hero Tran Hung Dao; The opening of the Con Son-Kiep Bac Autumn Festival in 2025; The opening of the Autumn Festival in 2025; The art program "Hai Phong - The Quintessence of Heritage Land" and the opening ceremony of the Tran Dynasty seal.

The festival will be highlighted by an art program staged with a combination of modern and grandiose performing arts, singing, dancing, circus and 3D mapping-layer visual arts, recreating the glorious feats of arms and people of the Tran Dynasty, especially of the National Duke and Commander-in-Chief Hung Dao Dai Vuong, on the land of Van Kiep.

In addition, Hai Phong city also organized a large-scale Cultural-Tourism and Trade Promotion Week, displaying and introducing OCOP products, typical agricultural and handicraft products, traditional craft villages, and unique cuisine ; performing and exchanging traditional folk arts and culture; introducing new tourism products with 3 themes: Experience tour "A journey of 5 destinations to World Heritage"; Experience tour "Following the footsteps of the Three Patriarchs of Truc Lam"; Tour "Discovering the Heritage of Con Son, Kiep Bac"...
