This is an activity to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 / October 10, 2025), welcoming the 18th Congress of Hanoi Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.  

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Loi, Editor-in-Chief of Economic & Urban Newspaper, Head of the exhibition organizing committee, spoke.

In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Loi, Editor-in-Chief of Kinh te & Do thi Newspaper, Head of the Exhibition Organizing Committee, said: In 2000, the Photo Exhibition “Hanoi in Me” was small in scale, just like a “game” for senior photographers. Up to now, the Exhibition has become an annual cultural event on the occasion of the Capital Liberation Day October 10. Photographers, press colleagues and the public coming to the Exhibition are increasingly more numerous. That shows the quality of the works has attracted attention, creating a brand for “Hanoi in Me”.

The 20th “Hanoi in Me” photo exhibition - 2025 is divided into 2 parts. Part 1: “Hanoi operates smoothly and effectively the two-level local government”; Part 2: “The 18th Hanoi Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030: A milestone in the new era”.

The exhibition introduces to the public 80 vivid photos, recording memorable milestones and brilliant, comprehensive achievements in all fields of Hanoi over 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the 17th City Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Loi, Permanent Vice President of Vietnam Journalists Association spoke.

At the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Duc Loi, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association emphasized: “The 20th photo exhibition “Hanoi in me” in 2025 is a very meaningful activity on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day, welcoming the 18th Congress of the Hanoi Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030. Through the works displayed at the exhibition, the public clearly feels the great historical significance and value of the Capital Liberation Day; revolutionary tradition, patriotism, strength of national unity, national pride and pride in the thousand-year-old civilized and heroic Capital. At the same time, we see the remarkable development of Hanoi in all fields”.

Visiting the exhibition, Ms. Ann Nicholl, a tourist from the UK, expressed: "I really like the photos at the exhibition, because through them I have the opportunity to learn many things about Hanoi: Culture, people, remarkable development in politics, economy... Many photos have very impressive composition and technique".

The public visits the exhibition.

The exhibition will last from October 8 to 12 at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, a special national relic site; and from October 12 to 21 at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel relic site (Hanoi).
