See 'Hanoi in the Age of Growth' through 80 vivid photos

The exhibition is divided into two parts: "Hanoi operates smoothly and effectively the two-level local government" and "The 18th Hanoi Party Congress, term 2025-2030: A milestone in the new era."

On October 8, the 20th " Hanoi in Me" photo exhibition, 2025 with the theme "Hanoi in the Age of Rising" opened at the special national relic site of Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam.

The exhibition features 80 photos, divided into two parts.

Specifically, in part 1 "Hanoi operates smoothly and effectively the two-level local government," the works provide the public with a comprehensive view of the activities of the two-level local government in Hanoi from headquarters, infrastructure, staff improvement, data file arrangement, Public Administration Service Points, and socio -economic development.

Part 2 "The 18th Hanoi Party Congress, term 2025-2030: a milestone in the new era" reflects the results of implementing the Resolution of the 17th Hanoi Party Congress, term 2020-2025 in all aspects of politics , Party building, economy, culture, society, urban development, clearly demonstrating the resilience and development of Hanoi today; preparations for the 18th Hanoi Party Congress.

Also in this section, the exhibition introduces to the public vivid images and the bustling atmosphere of the Great Ceremony celebrating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2025) held in Hanoi, leaving a deep historical mark on the Vietnamese people as well as friends and visitors from near and far.

Associate Professor - Doctor Nguyen Thanh Loi, Editor-in-Chief of Economic & Urban Newspaper, Head of the Exhibition Organizing Committee, said that this is a meaningful activity to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the Liberation Day of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2025), an opportunity to look back on a glorious historical journey, steps of growth and development to be more proud and responsible for Hanoi.

The photo exhibition introduces to the public 80 vivid, fresh, colorful photos recording memorable milestones and brilliant, comprehensive achievements in all fields of Hanoi over the past 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the 17th City Party Congress, term 2020-2025, while also reflecting the drastic and responsible participation of the entire political system from the city to the grassroots to smoothly operate the two-level local government model, aiming to better serve the people and businesses.

“Through that, the public can clearly feel a Hanoi that is always a pioneer, leading and inspiring the whole country; a capital with a thousand years of civilization, rich in cultural identity and breaking out in the new era of the nation,” Mr. Nguyen Thanh Loi emphasized.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association Nguyen Duc Loi affirmed that the photo exhibition "Hanoi in me" is a very meaningful activity.

“Today, Hanoi has a green, civilized, modern urban appearance with new urban areas, bridges, wide, green roads; with the suburban countryside increasingly changing, wearing a new, spacious coat… Today, Hanoi has not only become a key economic center, but also a starting place for many elite domestic and international values, an important growth driver in the integration and globalization process of the whole country,” Mr. Nguyen Duc Loi shared.

Visiting the exhibition, British tourist Gary Anderson enjoyed observing Hanoi from many angles. Gary said the exhibition gave tourists a comprehensive view of Hanoi with many vivid colors and interesting moments, urging him to explore more.

“This is my first time in Hanoi but I am very impressed with the people, culture and cuisine here. The Temple of Literature where we are standing is also beautiful and peaceful. If I had to use only one word to describe Hanoi, I would say: Beautiful,” said Gary.

The photo exhibition is open until October 12 at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam National Special Relic Site and from October 12 to 21 at Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Hanoi./.
