Who was the first president of the Southeast Asian E-Sports Federation?

During the first term (2025-2029), the federation unanimously elected Mr. Do Viet Hung, Chairman of the Vietnam Entertainment E- Sports Association (VIRESA), as Chairman of SEAEF.

With the vision to become the focal point in connecting the components of the regional esports ecosystem, including publishers, tournament organizers, training facilities and educational institutions, SEAEF aims to build a sustainable foundation for the grassroots esports movement, develop professional tournaments and create a clear roadmap for Southeast Asian athletes to reach the international arena.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Do Viet Hung emphasized: “SEAEF is built on the spirit of solidarity. By connecting strengths and acting together, we will create a sustainable ecosystem, support athletes, strengthen national federations and bring Southeast Asian e-sports to the world .”

During its first term, the SEAEF Executive Board will be responsible for orienting activities, building cooperation mechanisms and synchronous development among member countries, contributing to making e-sports a sustainable and highly professional development field in the region.

The establishment of SEAEF is expected to create a solid foundation for the synchronous development of e-sports in the region, contributing to promoting international cooperation, exchanging professional experiences, as well as enhancing the position of Southeast Asia on the world e-sports map.
