In celebration of the 22nd Vietnamese Poetry Day, on the morning of February 23rd (the 14th day of the first lunar month), the Ham Rong Poetry Club organized a Spring Poetry program for the Year of the Dragon 2024, celebrating the Party, the Spring, and the country's renewal.

Officials and members of the Ham Rong Club attended the program.
Following the opening drum ceremony, members of the Ham Rong Club, the poetry clubs of Can Khe commune (Nhu Thanh district) and Hop Tien commune (Trieu Son district) reminisced about the poetic achievements of President Ho Chi Minh and organized poetry recitations, readings, and adaptations of poems into lively traditional opera scenes. Many authors expressed their deep feelings through verses about the Party, Uncle Ho, the national spring, the Dien Bien Phu victory, and the Thanh Hoa countryside on the path of renewal...

Artist Hoang Bong performs President Ho Chi Minh's poem "Nguyen Tieu".
The program also launched the poetry collection "Spring of the Year of the Dragon 2024" with 87 selected poems by 57 authors who are members of the Ham Rong Club, featuring rich and diverse content, themes, and genres. The majority of these poems celebrate the glorious Party, the country's renewal, and the Spring of the Year of the Dragon 2024.

Poet Tran Dam presents his poem "Spring of Old Age".
Beyond simply celebrating the beauty of poetry, the Spring Poetry Program of the Year of the Dragon 2024 is also an opportunity for members to share and exchange new works, thereby contributing to encouraging creativity and passion for poetry among the staff and members of the Ham Rong Club.
