On July 17th, the Da Nang Department of Education and Training announced the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam, including 79 perfect scores (10 points); however, no candidates achieved a perfect score of 10 in Mathematics and Literature.
According to the Da Nang Department of Education and Training, this year Da Nang has 13,560 candidates registered to take the high school graduation exam. Of these, 12,774 are students currently in 12th grade (high school education program and continuing education program), and 787 are independent candidates. 12,852 candidates are taking the exam for both graduation and college/university admission; 103 candidates are taking the exam solely for graduation, and 605 candidates are taking the exam solely for college/university admission.
For Literature, only 17.99% scored 8 points or higher; 58.76% scored 6.5 points or higher; and 90.52% scored 5 points or higher. For Mathematics, only 23.1% scored 8 points or higher; 62.26% scored 6.5 points or higher; and 84.28% scored 5 points or higher.
Da Nang has 79 perfect scores (10/10) in the 2024 high school graduation exam.
In the 2024 high school graduation exam in Da Nang, there were 24 top scorers in Literature (9.5 points); 3 top scorers in Mathematics (9.8 points); 4 top scorers in Physics (9.75 points); 26 top scorers in Chemistry (10 points); 5 top scorers in Biology (9.75 points); 9 top scorers in History (10 points); 22 top scorers in Geography (10 points); 14 top scorers in Civic Education (10 points); 6 top scorers in English (10 points)...
Vu Hoang Hai, a student from Phan Chau Trinh High School, was the top scorer in Block A (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) with 28.8 points and Block A1 (Mathematics, Physics, English) with 28.7 points. Nguyen Dang Nguyen, a student from Le Quy Don Specialized High School, was the top scorer in Block B (Mathematics: 9.2; Chemistry: 9.75; Biology: 9.5) with 28.45 points. Dang Lam Thanh Van, a student from Ong Ich Khiem High School, was the top scorer in Block C (Literature: 9.25; History: 9.75; Geography: 10) with a total score of 29. Huynh Hoai Duyen, a student from Le Quy Don Specialized High School, was the top scorer in Block D (Mathematics: 9.0; Literature: 9.5; English: 9.6) with a total score of 28.1.
