Organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training after the merger.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - After the merger , the Ministry of Education and Training has 18 units, and many leaders of departments and bureaus have changed positions.

The government has issued Decree No. 37 dated February 26, stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET).

Accordingly, the Ministry of Education and Training comprises the following 18 units:

1. Department of Preschool Education

2. Department of General Education (merging the Department of Primary Education and the Department of Secondary Education).

3. Department of Higher Education

4. Department of National Defense and Security Education

5. Student Affairs Department (merging the Department of Physical Education and the Department of Political Education and Student Affairs).

6. Legal Affairs Department

7. Department of Personnel Organization

8. Planning and Finance Department (merging the Planning and Finance Department and the Infrastructure Department).

9. Office

10. Inspector

11. Department of Teachers and Educational Management Staff

12. Quality Management Department

13. Department of Science, Technology and Information (merging the Department of Science, Technology and Environment and the Department of Information Technology).

14. Department of International Cooperation

15. Department of Vocational Education and Continuing Education (reorganization of the General Department of Vocational Education and the Department of Continuing Education).

The Ministry of Education and Training also appointed a number of new personnel following the restructuring.

Specifically, Ms. Nguyen Thu Thuy, former Director of the Department of Higher Education, has been transferred to become Director of the Department of International Cooperation.

Meanwhile, Mr. Pham Quang Hung moved from his position as Director of the Department of International Cooperation to become Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Information.

Ms. Nguyen Thu Thuy's previous position remains vacant. Deputy Director Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy has been assigned to oversee the Department of Higher Education.

Mr. Thai Van Tai, former Director of the Primary Education Department, has been appointed Director of the new Department of General Education.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh De, former Director of the Department of Physical Education, has been appointed as Director of the Department of Preschool Education, replacing Mr. Nguyen Ba Minh.

Mr. Hoang Duc Minh, former Director of the Department of Continuing Education, has been appointed Director of the Department of Students.

Mr. Truong Anh Dung, Director General of the General Department of Vocational Education, Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, has been appointed Director of the Department of Vocational Education and Continuing Education.
