Opportunities for businesses to connect and expand markets

Participating in the 25th Vietnam - China International Trade Fair (Lao Cai) in 2025, businesses inside and outside the province are busy preparing goods, planning booth designs to display, introduce, promote and connect to consume products.

Registering to participate in the fair with 12 booths, these days, Minh Khai Import-Export Trading Joint Stock Company ( Lao Cai ) and companies in the business ecosystem are busy coordinating with partners to come up with ideas for booth design and product promotion plans.

It is expected that during the fair, the company's booths will display, introduce and promote export items and agricultural products such as cassava, coffee, cinnamon, herbs, etc. The company will also arrange about 20 permanent staff at the booth to introduce products and connect with domestic and foreign partners.

Mr. Vu Minh - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Minh Khai Import-Export Trading Joint Stock Company said: "The biggest wish of the enterprise over the past time and especially at this fair is to be able to promote import-export activities through border gates in the province. We have fully prepared goods, especially agricultural products of Lao Cai, designed display space, introduced products with the goal of attracting more Chinese partners to participate in import-export activities through the province's border gates".

Currently, the Central Highlands and Southeast regions are entering the coffee harvest season, so many businesses selling these products have prepared many products to display, introduce and promote at the fair with the goal of introducing to Chinese partners and consumers high-quality coffee and the Vietnamese coffee "culture".

Ms. Doan Thi Hue, Hoang Trung Coffee Production and Trading Company Limited ( Ho Chi Minh City) said: "Although we have many years of experience exporting coffee to the Chinese market, we still continue to participate in the fair because this is a large and influential fair.

"We have prepared a large quantity of green coffee, roasted and ground coffee, milk coffee and some new products to introduce and promote at the Fair with the hope of finding more partners, distribution channels and agents in the Chinese market and the northern provinces (Vietnam)" - Ms. Hue shared.

With bird's nest products - one of the high-end products favored by the Chinese market, many businesses are also producing, packaging and transporting to Lao Cai province to participate in this fair. Not only processed products, many businesses also plan to bring raw bird's nest products to affirm their quality and brand to partners, Chinese and domestic consumers.

Mr. Tran Ngoc Thanh - Head of Marketing Department, Nha Trang Island Bird's Nest Company Limited shared: "The products we bring to this fair are mainly high-end products, processed, adjusted in flavor and bird's nest content to suit the tastes of the Chinese market. We have high expectations for this fair to connect and find more agents in your country to expand the market as well as increase the export output of bird's nest to the Chinese market".

It can be seen that, to be ready to participate in the fair and face the great opportunity to approach the billion-people market, businesses inside and outside the province are actively preparing goods, coming up with ideas for booth design and having strategies to promote their products at the fair.

According to Mr. Nguyen Huy Long - Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Business Association, Lao Cai enterprises have proactively prepared carefully both products and brand image to participate in this year's fair, focusing on typical local products such as agricultural products, medicinal herbs, OCOP products and deep-processed goods - all of which have been improved in design, packaging, and traceability to meet export standards.

Businesses have invested in professional booths, applied digital technology in product introduction, created bilingual content in Vietnamese and Chinese, and actively participated in trade connection activities to expand the market and find potential partners.

With careful preparation by businesses inside and outside the province, it is believed that the fair will be an important opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to strengthen connections and expand trade cooperation with Chinese partners, especially in the fields of agricultural products, processing, logistics and tourism. At the same time, it will continue to promote the role of a bridge, establish sustainable cooperative relationships, helping Vietnamese products penetrate deeper into the Chinese market.
