One of the highlights of the project is its groundbreaking financial support policy for students. Accordingly, students studying in the project's programs will have their tuition fees fully covered by Gia Lai province if they commit to working locally for at least three years after graduation.
In addition, students are also supported with preferential loans from the Gia Lai Provincial Social Policy Bank to pay tuition fees. Specifically, the expected loan amount is 40 million VND/year, corresponding to the average tuition fee of the training program: Bachelor's degree (4 years): 38.3 million VND/year; Engineer's degree (4.5 years): 39.6 million VND/year. Students are exempt from interest throughout their studies, as stipulated by the Prime Minister .
Quy Nhon University also implements many preferential policies and career support programs for students in high-tech fields. These include: scholarships, tuition fee support, internship programs at businesses, and job placement services in Gia Lai, other provinces and cities in Vietnam, and internationally.
The school's leadership expects that the project will not only help develop high-quality human resources for Gia Lai province but also contribute to making Quy Nhon University a leading training center in the high-tech field in the Central and Central Highlands regions.
Collaboration to build a renewable energy training center in Gia Lai.
On July 14th, Quy Nhon University, GEO Group (Federal Republic of Germany), and O-DOOR Vietnam Co., Ltd. signed a memorandum of cooperation on the construction and operation of a training and human resource development center for renewable energy in Gia Lai province.
According to the memorandum of understanding, the parties will cooperate in implementing advanced, internationally standardized training programs in the fields of wind power, solar energy, and green hydrogen. The center's goal is to train a high-quality workforce to serve the renewable energy sector, while also supporting Vietnam in fulfilling its commitment to carbon neutrality by 2050.
