Under the professional advice of My Duc Hospital - a prominent medical unit in Vietnam in the field of assisted reproduction, the IVF Quoc Anh Reproductive Support Center, under Quoc Anh Hospital, is the first community-oriented reproductive support model in Vietnam, designed specifically for low-income infertile couples - those who have never thought of accessing IVF due to financial and psychological barriers.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Health , about 7.7% of the Vietnamese population has infertility problems. Meanwhile, the cost of treatment is high but is not covered by health insurance. In particular, ordinary laborers such as workers, farmers, and freelancers often do not have the financial means to access in vitro fertilization (IVF) services, even though they always want to have children.

Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Phuong shares about the humanitarian project for low-income infertile families.

In the context of low birth rates and population decline being long-term problems in Vietnam, IVF Quoc Anh is expected to become an effective public health solution, supporting infertile couples with low incomes to realize their dream of having children, contributing to increasing the birth rate in the most vulnerable population group. At the same time, state policy is encouraging women under 35 to have two children. For women who have difficulty having children, there needs to be early and timely support solutions so that they do not miss the golden time for reproduction.

At the project launch ceremony, Professor, Doctor Nguyen Thi Ngoc Phuong - the pioneer doctor who brought IVF technology to Vietnam shared that bringing high technology from abroad is not only to serve those with economic conditions, if that is all, it is not called humane, but must be done so that the poor also have the opportunity to receive treatment.

Doctors at My Duc Hospital, who have a lot of experience in in vitro fertilization, have been working together to research for a long time, with the desire to optimize treatment effectiveness while reducing costs to the lowest level.

"I think this is very valuable, especially for workers in the surrounding area, workers, and low-income people. Many people hear that infertility treatment costs 100-120 million and do not dare to think about treatment anymore. So many families lose the chance to have children, lose happiness. Now there is IVF Quoc Anh, an IVF center that focuses on the community, costs are minimized but still ensures effectiveness," said Professor Ngoc Phuong.

Quoc Anh IV Center has professional support from experienced doctors in the field of reproductive support.

The leading obstetrician also recommends that families who have been trying for a child for one or two years without success should see a doctor soon. Don’t wait too long, because the older a woman is, the more difficult it will be to have children.

Sharing about the treatment costs, Dr. Ly Thien Trung, Head of the Reproductive Support Unit - Quoc Anh IVF Center, said that infertile families only need to spend 19 million VND to do IVF using the fresh embryo transfer method and from 29 million VND to do IVF using the frozen embryo transfer method. The infertility examination and medication costs are not included and will be individually estimated for each case, helping patients optimize treatment effectiveness without exceeding their ability to pay.

The center aims to serve low to middle income couples who want to have children, living and working in the western area of Ho Chi Minh City with a variety of occupations such as: factory workers, small traders, farmers, car repairmen, construction workers, technology drivers, etc.

Doctor Ly Thien Trung, Head of the Reproductive Support Unit - Quoc Anh IVF Center said that with a team of IVF experts from My Duc Hospital, doctors will choose appropriate treatment regimens, in order to minimize costs for patients while still maintaining the best treatment results.
