This year's pitching competition attracted 5 technology startup groups with products in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, Climate Tech and innovative solutions for society. The representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution emphasized that projects need to dare to be ahead of the times, not just stopping at AI or Web3 but must think about integrating technology to create new values.

Among them, the AK Technologis group attracted attention with its motion system for studios, movies and games, using AI to replace complex systems, helping to reduce production costs. However, young startups also frankly admitted that the biggest difficulties are financial limitations, marketing and lack of investor connections. Playgrounds like this competition are considered an opportunity to rub shoulders and hone.

Notably, Vietnamese startups also have the opportunity to access Business Finland – a government agency under the Finnish Ministry of Economic Affairs and Labor, specializing in supporting startups to develop sustainably and expand globally. Business Finland offers many programs from incubator tours, meeting investors, to settlement support for both the startup team and their families for 2 years, while also providing 60-70% non-refundable capital without taking shares. This model is likened to a “sandbox” – if they fail, startups still have a “sand foundation” to stand up and continue.

As a result, the winning pitch was Diaflow with a business automation solution that does not require technical expertise or complex setup time. The prize for the young founders was to participate in the incubation program at Sisu Factory – a partner of Business Finland, located in Helsinki, Finland.
The event is not only a place for Vietnamese startups to test their skills but also opens the door to international incubation programs, creating the premise for the "new wave of startups" to reach out globally.
