Vietnamese player wins convincingly, genius Caudron defeats 'giant'

The 4th qualifying round of the Porto 2024 3-cushion carom billiards World Cup will take place from the afternoon of July 10. Tran Thanh Luc is the first Vietnamese player to take the field, facing a strong opponent, Huberney Catano (Colombia).

In the match at the same time, Frederic Caudron faced the Dutch "giant" Sam Van Etten (2.02 m tall). The Belgian billiards genius continued to show impressive form and won the opening match of the 4th qualifying round. After 18 rounds, Caudron defeated Etten with a score of 40-21. Caudron will face a tough opponent, Ruben Legazpi (Spain) in the final match of the 4th qualifying round.
