Billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong's eldest son becomes Chairman of VinFast.

Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh has just taken over the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of VinFast, replacing Ms. Le Thi Thu Thuy.

VinFast Auto Ltd. has just announced the appointment of Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh as Chairman of the Board of Directors of VinFast.

The decision aims to meet the requirements of global expansion in the new development phase. Accordingly, Mr. Quan Anh assumed the top position on the board of directors from May 23rd, replacing Ms. Le Thi Thu Thuy.

Mr. Quan Anh is currently the Vice Chairman and Permanent Deputy General Director at VinFast Manufacturing and Trading Joint Stock Company.

This individual is described as having multi-faceted management experience and having made significant contributions to VinFast's development, from its foundational stages in the domestic market to its global expansion.

Meanwhile, Ms. Le Thi Thu Thuy will step down from her position as Chairwoman and will no longer participate in the board of directors, in order to focus on the important goals of Vingroup Corporation - the major shareholder of VinFast, where she currently holds the position of Vice Chairwoman.

After taking office, Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh shared his "desire to work alongside the leadership team to lead VinFast into a new phase of development."

Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Singapore Management University.

He previously served as Deputy General Director and Deputy Executive Director at Vinpearl Joint Stock Company from 2017 to 2019. During this period, he accumulated extensive experience in operational management, system development, and strategic planning.

Since joining VinFast in February 2019, Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh has held many important leadership positions in all areas, from vehicle development and manufacturing to sales and after-sales service.
