On the morning of May 26th, Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC), along with many other gold trading businesses, listed the price of SJC gold bars at 158.5 million VND/ounce for buying and 161.5 million VND/ounce for selling, a decrease of 500,000 VND/ounce compared to yesterday.
Mi Hong Company also adjusted the price of gold bars downwards to 158.8 million VND/ounce for buying and 160.3 million VND/ounce for selling.
Following the downward trend, plain gold rings and 99.99% pure gold jewelry decreased by approximately 500,000 VND per tael, trading around 158 million VND/tael for buying and 161 million VND/tael for selling.
Thus, after just one day of recovery, domestic gold prices have fallen again.

Domestic gold prices fall again.
On the international market, although gold prices today are trading above $4,500 per ounce, they have still fallen by tens of dollars per ounce compared to the previous session.
At 9:30 AM Vietnam time, the price of gold was trading at $4,535 per ounce, down approximately $35 per ounce compared to earlier in the morning.
In recent days, gold prices have fluctuated due to the influence of information related to the latest developments in the conflict in the Middle East. According to analysts, positive news about the US-Iran negotiations will drive gold prices up sharply, and vice versa.
As of this morning, the US dollar index (DXY Index) was trading at 99.06 points, down 0.18% from the previous session, while Brent crude oil was at 97.8 points.
