On May 29th, China Daily reported that supermodel Xi Mengyao and wealthy heir He Youjun held their wedding ceremony after approximately seven years of marriage. Their wedding took place on June 1st in France.

The couple registered their marriage in July 2019 and currently have a son and a daughter. However, their wedding plans were delayed for many years because He Youjun's family was mourning the death of the late casino billionaire Stanley Ho.

Included with the gift box was a card that read: “Thank you for visiting our story. We wanted to share this moment of love and happiness with you.”

Inside the gift box were a range of luxury items such as a silk travel suit, Sisley skincare products, bespoke French perfume, scented candles, and a Michelin-starred wedding cake.

In particular, many viewers noticed the small Mario and Princess Brigitte figurines included in the wedding gift set. This detail is believed to be a nod to the sensational Super Mario-themed marriage proposal that He Youjun prepared for He Mengyao in 2019.
