This year's National Table Tennis Tournament for Strong Teams gathered nearly 130 excellent players from 12 strong teams nationwide, held from September 19 to 28, and played an important role in selecting the force to participate in the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand next December.
Before entering the final, T&T People's Police defeated the Army 3-0 in the semi-finals, while Hai Phong 1 won a dramatic 3-2 victory over Hanoi 1.
In the championship match, coach Vu Manh Cuong's students played with great courage and were superior in both technique and mentality. Each match was played with high professional quality, in which the players of the T&T People's Police played consistently, with even performance and careful tactical preparation.
The matches include Dinh Anh Hoang vs Nguyen Duy Phong (3-1), Le Dinh Duc vs Nguyen Duc Tuan (3-1), Ta Hong Khanh vs Doan Ba Tuan Anh (3-1).

Speaking after the 3-0 victory, coach Vu Manh Cuong could not hide his joy and pride in the team. He said that winning the national championship was a big challenge, but successfully defending the championship was even more difficult.
According to him, both the coaching staff and the athletes have shown serious investment in physical strength, technique and especially competitive spirit. In the context of opponents such as Hanoi or Hai Phong both possess strong forces, this achievement is very meaningful for the team's development journey.
Looking further towards the end of the year, when the 33rd SEA Games takes place in Thailand, the head coach of the T&T People's Public Security table tennis team expressed hope that three of his students could be part of the national team, namely Dinh Anh Hoang, Le Dinh Duc and Mai Ngoc.
Although the official list of competitors has not been announced, with what these athletes are showing, they completely deserve the opportunity to compete in the regional arena.
Not stopping at the men's team event, T&T People's Police also set high goals for the remaining events of the tournament. According to the plan, the men's and women's doubles finals will take place at 7 p.m. on September 25, while the men's and women's singles matches and the closing ceremony will be held on September 28.
Sharing about upcoming expectations, coach Vu Manh Cuong said: "The team's target is to achieve at least one Gold Medal, one Silver Medal and one Bronze Medal. However, the whole team will strive to surpass the set goal, aiming for the best results for the tournament."
With impressive performance and thorough preparation, T&T People's Police is showing a solid position in the Vietnamese table tennis community. Success in this tournament is not only a stepping stone for SEA Games 33 but also a strong motivation for this table tennis team to continue to develop and conquer new heights in the future.
