Announcing 8 revised and supplemented administrative procedures in the library sector

Accordingly, the list of administrative procedures amended and supplemented in the library sector under the management scope of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism includes:

2 central administrative procedures: 1- Procedure for notification of establishment of a central specialized library which is a non-public library; 2- Procedure for notification of merger, consolidation, division, separation of a central specialized library which is a non-public library

2 provincial-level administrative procedures: 3- Procedures for notifying the establishment of specialized libraries at the provincial level, university libraries that are non-public libraries, and libraries of foreign organizations and individuals that serve Vietnamese people; 4- Procedures for notifying the merger, consolidation, division, and separation of libraries for specialized libraries at the provincial level, university libraries that are non-public libraries, and libraries of foreign organizations and individuals that serve Vietnamese people.

2 district-level administrative procedures: 5- Procedures for notification of establishment of libraries belonging to preschools, generaleducation institutions, vocational education institutions and other non-public educational institutions and private libraries serving the community; 6- Procedures for notification of mergers, consolidations, divisions and separations of libraries belonging to preschools, general education institutions, vocational education institutions and other non-public educational institutions, private libraries serving the community.

2 commune-level administrative procedures: 7- Procedure for notification of library establishment for community libraries; 8- Procedure for notification of library merger, consolidation, division, and separation for community libraries.

This Decision comes into force from January 15, 2024.
