Announcement of the decision to establish Truong Thi Ward Trade Union

The Provincial Federation of Labor leaders presented the Establishment Decision to the Truong Thi Ward Trade Union.

At the conference, the representative of the Provincial Federation of Labor announced the decision to establish the Truong Thi Ward Trade Union under the Provincial Federation of Labor from September 5, including 48 grassroots trade unions with a total of 3,581 union members. The Truong Thi Ward Trade Union has legal status, its own seal and account according to regulations; fully performs the functions, tasks and powers according to the provisions of the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union. At the same time, the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Truong Thi Ward Trade Union for the 2023-2028 term was announced. Accordingly, the Trade Union Executive Committee consists of 11 comrades, the Standing Committee consists of 3 comrades, and comrade Hoang Ngoc Nghia was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Truong Thi Ward Trade Union.

The conference also announced the Decision to transfer 48 grassroots trade unions with a total of 3,581 union members to Truong Thi Ward Trade Union to manage, direct and guide union activities.

Speaking at the conference, the leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor congratulated the Executive Committee of the Truong Thi Ward Trade Union, and emphasized that the establishment of the ward trade union organization is an important milestone, marking a new development step of the trade union organization in the grassroots political system; concretizing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor's policies and laws on streamlining the organizational apparatus according to the 2-level local government model.

At the same time, the leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor requested the Truong Thi Ward Trade Union to quickly stabilize its organization and operations, develop working regulations, assign specific tasks to members; focus on doing a good job of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; promote propaganda work, raise awareness of law compliance for union members and workers; organize patriotic emulation movements... Continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, associated with the political tasks of the locality; focus on developing union members, building a strong union organization, a reliable support for union members and workers, worthy of being a bridge between the Party and workers, actively contributing to the socio -economic development of the locality and the province.

On this occasion, the Executive Committee of Truong Thi Ward Trade Union launched the emulation movements to grassroots trade unions, union members and workers: "Good worker, creative worker"; "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene"; "Good at public work, good at housework"..., thereby joining hands with the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front and branches and organizations in the area to build the ward to be increasingly rich, beautiful and civilized.
