The show is jointly organized by the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Lao Cai province, Lao Cai Tourism Association, Sa Pa Ward People's Committee with the participation, direction of content and script of artists: Dang Xuan Truong, Ha Van Thang...
If “Dance under the Moon” recreates the multi-colored cultural beauty of the Mong, Dao, Giay, Tay, Xa Pho ethnic groups… through music , dance and brocade colors in the magical space of the mountains and forests, “Thien” is a new step forward, depicting the spiritual depth, beliefs and core values in the spiritual life of the Dao people.

With a structure of 6 acts, 11 scenes, and a duration of about 65 minutes, "Thien" recreates the journey of human attachment to earth, water, fire, love and important rituals.
The highlight is the initiation ceremony - a symbol of the maturity and responsibility of Dao men to their family and community.
The program brings together artisans, Sa Pa people and professional actors of Lao Cai Province's Ethnic Arts Troupe, combined with visual arts, lighting, and 3D mapping projection, creating a space rich in symbolism while still preserving the cultural essence.

In addition, “Dance under the Moon” marks its return after 2 years since the first show. The dances of the panpipe, fan dance, stick dance, nasal flute, đàn tính, khen lá, and tử… combined with the vibrant colors of brocade, depicting the rich and diverse cultural life of the community, promise to attract tourists. The finale is the Dance of Solidarity, a performance that brings together 5 ethnic groups, affirming the strength of solidarity and the common aspiration to build a prosperous and sustainable life.

What is special about both programs is the direct participation of the ethnic minorities of Sa Pa, who are both creators and storytellers of their own. The art is not only staged by professional directors and choreographers, but is also nurtured by the rhythm of life, rituals and cultural beliefs of the community.
