
Attending the inauguration ceremony were Rear Admiral Nguyen Dang Tien, Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the Region; Colonel Pham Anh Tuan, Commander of the Region; Comrade Le Thi Hong Nga, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Party agencies of Ho Chi Minh City; delegates of the Party Committee of the Party agencies of Ho Chi Minh City; representatives of Namy Da Nang Company Limited; Thao Ngoc Khang Company; comrades Heads of the Region Command and leaders and commanders of agencies and units of Naval Region 3.

The project of the Truong Sa island sovereignty landmark model in the Naval Region 3 Command area started construction in June 2025. The project is designed with the same size (1:1 ratio) as the sovereignty landmark located on Truong Sa island ( Khanh Hoa province): height 5.9m; width 1.35m, the items are tiled with natural granite, the letters are designed with electrostatic painted stainless steel material. The total area of the project campus is nearly 60m2 .
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Rear Admiral Nguyen Dang Tien expressed his deep gratitude to the leaders of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Party agencies and agencies, businesses and individuals who accompanied and supported funding to complete the project on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Naval Region 3.

The Political Commissar of Naval Region 3 emphasized that the project not only contributes to building and consolidating the bright, green, clean, beautiful and standard landscape of the unit, but also serves as a vivid visual propaganda model for officers, soldiers and representatives of agencies, organizations, students and local people when visiting the unit. Thereby, it arouses love for the homeland, national pride and raises awareness and responsibility for the task of protecting the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
