Tomorrow morning, October 25, at SGGP Newspaper, the seminar "Promoting AI application in education and training - Benefits and challenges" will take place.

The seminar was organized by the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission in coordination with Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper, aiming to clarify the spirit of Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW and Resolution No. 281/NQ-CP on comprehensive digital transformation, popularization, and application of AI in education and training.

Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW dated August 22, 2025 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development clearly stated "Comprehensive digital transformation, popularization and strong application of digital technology and artificial intelligence in education and training".

On September 15, the Government issued Resolution No. 281/NQ-CP on the Action Program to institutionalize and fully implement the viewpoints, goals, tasks and solutions set out in Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW.

Resolution No. 281/NQ-CP requires the organization to resolutely, effectively and synchronously implement 8 tasks. In which, the 4th task is "Comprehensive digital transformation, popularization and strong application of digital technology and artificial intelligence in education and training".

In fact, promoting AI in education and training helps increase access to education, promote personalized education, enhance self-learning spirit, innovate and improve teaching efficiency, and create lifelong learning habits.

However, the challenge is the growing digital divide, ethical issues in AI, data privacy, content accuracy and objectivity, and dependence on technology.

Based on the above requirements and challenges, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee and Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper organized the seminar "Promoting AI application in education and training - Benefits and challenges".

The discussion will take place at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow, October 25, at the headquarters of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper.

The seminar aims to clarify the spirit of Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW and Resolution No. 281/NQ-CP on comprehensive digital transformation, popularization and application of AI in education and training; assess the current situation and implementation of the Party and State's policies on bringing AI into schools; learn from experiences from countries in the region and the world; analyze existing problems in investment policies for education and digital transformation in schools; introduce and propose new models and solutions to help teachers and students apply artificial intelligence in teaching and learning...
