Tomorrow morning, October 25th, a seminar titled "Promoting the Application of AI in Education and Training - Benefits and Challenges" will be held at the Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper.

The seminar, organized by the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department in collaboration with Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper, aimed to clarify the spirit of Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW and Resolution No. 281/NQ-CP on comprehensive digital transformation, popularization, and application of AI in education and training.

Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW dated August 22, 2025, of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development clearly states: "Comprehensive digital transformation, widespread adoption and strong application of digital technology and artificial intelligence in education and training."

On September 15th, the Government issued Resolution No. 281/NQ-CP on the Action Program to institutionalize and fully implement the viewpoints, objectives, tasks, and solutions set forth in Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW.

Resolution No. 281/NQ-CP requires the vigorous, effective, and synchronized implementation of eight tasks. Among them, the fourth task is "Comprehensive digital transformation, widespread adoption, and strong application of digital technology and artificial intelligence in education and training."

In reality, promoting AI in education and training helps increase access to education, foster personalized education, enhance self-learning, innovate and improve teaching effectiveness, and build lifelong learning habits.

However, the challenges include widening the digital divide, ethical issues in AI, data security, the accuracy and objectivity of content, and dependence on technology.

Stemming from the above requirements and challenges, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department and Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper organized a seminar entitled "Promoting the Application of AI in Education and Training - Benefits and Challenges".

The discussion will take place at 8:30 AM tomorrow, October 25th, at the headquarters of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper.

The seminar aimed to clarify the spirit of Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW and Resolution No. 281/NQ-CP on comprehensive digital transformation, popularization, and application of AI in education and training; assess the current situation and implementation of the Party and State's policies on bringing AI into schools; learn from the experiences of countries in the region and the world; analyze existing shortcomings in investment policies for education and digital transformation in schools; and introduce and propose new models and solutions to help teachers and students apply artificial intelligence to teaching and learning...
