Announcement of the decision to establish Vu Ban Commune Trade Union

Comrade Tran Minh Hoan, Provincial Party Committee member, Party Secretary, Chairman of Vu Ban Commune People's Council presented flowers to congratulate the Commune Trade Union Executive Committee.

At the conference, representatives of the provincial Federation of Labor announced the following decisions: Establishment of Vu Ban Commune Trade Union under the provincial Federation of Labor from September 5, including 52 grassroots trade unions with a total of 8,552 union members.

Vu Ban Commune Trade Union has legal status, its own seal and account as prescribed; fully performs the functions, tasks and powers as prescribed in the Charter of Vietnam Trade Union; Decision appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman and Vice Chairman of Vu Ban Commune Trade Union for the 2023-2028 term. The Trade Union Executive Committee consists of 9 comrades, the Standing Committee consists of 3 comrades. Comrade Nguyen Thanh Minh was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of Vu Ban Commune Trade Union.

The conference also announced the Decision to transfer 52 grassroots trade unions with a total of 8,552 union members to Vu Ban Commune Trade Union to manage, direct and guide trade union activities.

Speaking at the conference, the representative of the provincial Federation of Labor congratulated Vu Ban Commune Trade Union, and emphasized that the establishment of Vu Ban Commune Trade Union is an important milestone, marking a new development step of the trade union in the grassroots political system; concretizing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor's policies on streamlining the apparatus according to the 2-level local government model. He also requested the Executive Committee of Vu Ban Commune Trade Union to promptly develop working regulations and action programs for the Executive Committee and Standing Committee; clearly assign tasks to each comrade to effectively implement activities right from the beginning.

The commune trade union needs to closely coordinate with the commune People's Committee and mass organizations of the commune to effectively carry out propaganda and mobilize union members and workers to strictly implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, and the local political tasks. Focus on taking care of the material and spiritual life of union members; at the same time, promote the role of supervision, criticism, and participation in building a clean and strong Party and government. Actively organize the emulation movement of "good workers, creative workers" among workers, thereby discovering typical factors and nurturing excellent union members, introducing them to the Party for consideration and admission; continue to closely follow the goal of "orienting towards the grassroots, for the workers", innovate organizational thinking, service thinking, and make the union organization truly a trustworthy representative organization of workers; Focus on developing union members, establishing grassroots unions and trade unions to strengthen the union organization, actively contributing to the socio -economic development of the locality and the province.
