Announcing revised and supplemented administrative procedures in the tourism sector

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has issued Decision No. 134/QD-BVHTTDL promulgating amended and supplemented administrative procedures in the tourism sector under the management scope of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The Decision clearly states the list of amended and supplemented administrative procedures in the tourism sector under the management of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, including 3 central-level administrative procedures and 8 provincial-level administrative procedures.

Of which, 3 central-level administrative procedures include: Procedures for granting international travel service business licenses; Procedures for re-granting international travel service business licenses; Procedures for granting and changing international travel service business licenses.

8 provincial-level administrative procedures include: Procedures for granting domestic travel service business licenses; Procedures for re-granting domestic travel service business licenses; Procedures for granting and changing domestic travel service business licenses; Procedures for granting on-site tour guide cards; Procedures for granting international tour guide cards; Procedures for granting and changing international tour guide cards and domestic tour guide cards; Procedures for re-granting tour guide cards.

Procedures for granting international travel service business license

* Implementation sequence:

Enterprises requesting a license to provide international travel services submit their application to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.

Within 10 days from the date of receiving valid documents, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism shall appraise and grant an International Travel Service Business License to the enterprise and notify the Department of Tourism/Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism where the enterprise is headquartered; in case of refusal, a written notice must be given stating the reasons.

* How to do it: Submit directly or online via the Public Service Portal of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism or by post to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.

Procedures for granting and changing international travel service business licenses

* Implementation sequence:

Enterprises submit applications for reissuance of international travel service business licenses to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism in case of changes to the Business Registration Certificate or Investment Registration Certificate or changes in the scope of international travel service business.

Within 05 working days from the date of receiving valid documents, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism is responsible for issuing a new international travel business license to the enterprise and notifying the Department of Tourism/Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism where the enterprise is headquartered; in case of refusal, a written notice must be given stating the reason.
