Announcement and award of decision to appoint Chief Prosecutor of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Procuracy after merger

(PLVN) - On June 25, at the headquarters of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee, the Supreme People's Procuracy (SPP) coordinated with the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee and the Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee to organize a ceremony to announce and hand over decisions on personnel work in the People's Procuracy system.

Attending the ceremony were Lieutenant General Ta Quang Khai, Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy; Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province; Nguyen Viet Oanh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province; along with members of the Standing Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee, leaders of specialized agencies, representatives of the Supreme People's Procuracy Office and many officials and civil servants in the Procuracy of the two provinces.

At the ceremony, the leaders of the Supreme People's Procuracy announced Decision No. 286/QD-VKSTC dated June 23, 2025 on the appointment of Mr. Doan Anh Phuong, Intermediate Prosecutor, Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the People's Procuracy of Bac Ninh province (before the merger), to hold the position of Chief Prosecutor of the People's Procuracy of Bac Ninh province (after the merger). The decision takes effect from July 1, 2025, with a term of appointment of 5 years.

Also at the ceremony, the Supreme People's Procuracy announced the retirement decisions of Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung, Chief Prosecutor of the People's Procuracy of Bac Giang province and Ms. Chu Nguyet Anh, Chief Prosecutor of the People's Procuracy of Bac Ninh province (old). At the same time, it announced the decisions to appoint Deputy Chief Prosecutors of the People's Procuracy of Bac Ninh province (after the merger) and leaders of the People's Procuracy in 9 new regions.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy Ta Quang Khai congratulated the appointed comrades, especially Mr. Doan Anh Phuong, who was entrusted with the new responsibility in an important period when the Procuracy was reorganizing and rearranging according to the new provincial model. He emphasized: In the new position, Comrade Doan Anh Phuong needs to continue to promote the sense of responsibility, political courage, and work experience; build internal solidarity, and coordinate effectively with relevant agencies to excellently complete the task, maintain justice and the strictness of the law.

In his acceptance speech, the new Chief Prosecutor of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Procuracy, Doan Anh Phuong, expressed his sincere thanks for the trust and entrustment of the Supreme People's Procuracy and the leaders of Bac Ninh and Bac Giang provinces. He affirmed that he will, together with the new Bac Ninh Provincial People's Procuracy, continue to promote tradition, build a team of prosecutors who are politically steadfast, professionally skilled, and well-versed in the law, meeting the requirements of the tasks in the new situation.
