Quang Nam Trade Union and the mark of international cooperation

Since 2019, the Sekong - Laos Provincial Trade Union Confederation and the Quang Nam Labor Federation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on establishing a relationship of coordination in activities.

Up to now, the two sides regularly organize delegations of union officials to visit and work to exchange and inform each other about propaganda and education work, raising class awareness for officials, union members and workers.

Mr. Luu Van Thuong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor said that, implementing the program of coordinating activities, the Trade Unions of the two localities of Quang Nam - Se Kong had meetings to exchange experiences in mobilizing union members, establishing grassroots unions; innovating the content and methods of activities, and improving the quality of trade union activities.

Exchange experiences in collecting and using union dues and union funds. Provide guidance and exchange on the implementation of collective labor agreements and labor contracts between trade unions, employees and employers.

Organizing conferences for civil servants and workers; inspecting and supervising policies and regimes related to workers and employees to protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers...

On the basis of information exchange, the two sides learned from each other's experiences to promptly propose solutions to effectively direct the movement of workers, civil servants, and laborers and trade union activities of each side.

With the Gyeongnam Provincial Federation of Trade Unions under the Korean Trade Union Confederation, after signing a cooperation agreement during the visit of the Korean Trade Union Confederation to Quang Nam in 2023, the Quang Nam Provincial Federation of Labor visited Gyeongnam province in 2024.

During the visits, the two Unions discussed cooperation contents, building and promoting friendly cooperative relations.

The cooperation activities of the two sides are carried out in the spirit of complying with the laws of the two countries, aiming to protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers, improve social welfare, and contribute to promoting exchanges between the people of Vietnam and Korea.
