
Comrade Huynh Kim Nhan, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, presented certificates of 4-star OCOP product achievement to the participating entities.
Attending the event were Mr. Huynh Kim Nhan, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Tra Vinh province; Mr. Pham Thanh Tieng, Deputy Head of the Provincial Rural Development Sub-Department; Mr. Lam Hoang Anh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tra Vinh city; and representatives from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Chau Thanh and Tra Cu districts, along with the owners of products that achieved OCOP 4-star status.
Four products were recognized as OCOP 4-star products, including: My Hometown Rice (Thuan Thien Private Enterprise, Tra Cu District); Headless, peeled, deveined, tail-left boiled frozen shrimp with sauce (Cuu Long Aquatic Products Joint Stock Company); Hoa Hong Coconut Oil (Phuong Huynh Clean Coconut Oil Production Facility, Tra Vinh City); and Mekong Pure Cocoa Powder (Mekong Cocoa Co., Ltd., Chau Thanh District).
To date, the province has 393 OCOP products; including: 3 products achieving 5 stars; 7 products with potential for 5 stars; 46 products achieving 4 stars and 337 products achieving 3 stars, from 250 participating entities (including 32 companies, 7 enterprises, 35 cooperatives, 4 production groups and 172 business households).

Representatives from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Rural Development Sub-Department, and the Agriculture and Rural Development Division took a commemorative photo with the OCOP 4-star award-winning entities.
According to Comrade Huynh Kim Nhan, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, in the coming time, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development will coordinate with units and entities in promoting and bringing OCOP products to the market. Currently, there are few OCOP products, and the province's potential and strengths have not been fully exploited.
The OCOP program, implemented since 2018, has achieved positive results, making a significant contribution to improving product quality, developing the rural economy , and building new rural areas. Local OCOP products need to focus on improving quality, aiming for development, expansion, and upgrading from 3 stars to 4 stars; 4-star products need to be developed to 5 stars…
