Recognizing the Iron Bridge archaeological site, Long Khanh as a provincial-level relic

This relic was discovered in December 1975 at a local farm in Binh Loc commune, Long Khanh city. After surveys and excavations in 1976 and 2021, scientists collected nearly 1,000 stone artifacts such as axes, grinding tables, scythes, etc. and tens of thousands of ceramic pieces.

Research results through collected artifacts, based on topographical origin and historical data, archaeologists have determined that the Cau Sat archaeological site belongs to the type of residential relics containing many great values ​​in terms of material - spirit, science - technology, economy - society of the ancient residents here, representing the earliest stage of generations of ancient residents of Dong Nai culture. Ancient residents lived here from 5 thousand years to 4.5 thousand years ago.

In 2024, Dong Nai Museum completed the dossier to rank the Cau Sat relic as a provincial relic. On May 5, Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee decided to rank the Cau Sat archaeological relic as a provincial relic.
