City police participated in ensuring security and order to enforce the decision to reclaim land from two households in Trung Vuong commune to hand over the site for the Viet Czech Urban Area Project.
In 2023, the city will implement 87 projects (80 transitional projects and 7 new projects), including 4 provincial-level key projects with a total investment of nearly 39 trillion VND, 7 city-level key projects with a total investment of about 1,500 billion VND. Among the projects that have been and are being implemented in the city, there are 7 large projects with a scale of over 10 hectares, 6 projects to build key traffic works.
As the core force in maintaining security and order, the City Police have proactively grasped and promptly reflected on the issues arising from the people's thoughts, aspirations, needs, and recommendations on policies, mechanisms, and compensation policies. In addition, they have coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and social organizations to comprehensively review the difficulties and obstacles of land acquisition projects in the city to develop specific programs and plans; advise, resolve, and remove obstacles for each project.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Ta Anh Tuan - Deputy Head of Viet Tri City Police, the City Police has advised the City Party Committee and the City People's Committee to direct relevant units to overcome shortcomings and limitations, ensure compliance with legal regulations to maintain security and order, and protect the construction of the Southwest Urban Housing Project in Viet Tri City, Minh Nong Ward, which has lasted for many years. The City Police has coordinated with functional units to directly propagate and mobilize two households to agree to receive compensation, support and hand over the site at the Technical Infrastructure Project on both sides of Vu The Lang Street, and five households to agree to count at the Resettlement Area Project on Truong Chinh Street. The City Police force has also performed well in ensuring security and order when carrying out forced land acquisition according to regulations.
The drastic participation of the City Police, promoting the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and organizations in coordinating propaganda and dissemination of laws on compensation, support, resettlement, and land acquisition to households; encouraging and persuading cadres, civil servants, public employees and people to agree to comply with land laws, many projects in the area have had difficulties removed, construction implemented, serving the socio -economic development goals of the city and province. In 2023, Viet Tri city conducted an inventory of 103.78 hectares of land of 2,019 households with a total value of 317.17 billion VND. Of which, 118.3 billion VND was paid to 642 households on an area of 26.76 hectares of land, the rest are continuing to complete procedures for payment and handover of land according to regulations.
In order to gradually resolve the difficulties and problems in the compensation work for land acquisition and clearance of projects in the area, the City Police continue to proactively advise the City Party Committee and the City People's Committee to direct local Party committees and authorities; promote the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations in implementing compensation for land acquisition and clearance of projects in accordance with the provisions of law. At the same time, advise the City People's Committee to regularly inspect, supervise, promptly detect shortcomings and shortcomings in the compensation work for land acquisition and clearance to request correction, remedy, and handling according to regulations; focus on verifying, clarifying, and resolving citizens' recommendations and problems.
