The Vinh Hung - Tan Hung inter-district martyrs cemetery is being upgraded and expanded.

The Vinh Hung - Tan Hung inter-district martyrs' cemetery was invested in and built in the late 1990s with a scale of 3,350 graves. Through many stages of searching, exhuming, and gathering remains, up to now, 3,200 graves have been buried for heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the wars against French colonialism, American imperialism, and the Southwestern border war. In particular, it is the resting place of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers who fought and sacrificed their lives in Cambodia.

In response to this situation, the province has invested in expanding the Vinh Hung - Tan Hung Inter-district Martyrs' Cemetery.

The project to expand the Vinh Hung - Tan Hung inter-district martyrs cemetery covers an area of about 3.9 hectares, with a total investment of about 111 billion VND. The investment scale includes roads, ceremony grounds, funeral homes, fences, trees, lighting and more than 5,000 graves,...

Currently, the province is investing in construction of an area of about 1 hectare, including fences, roads, ceremony grounds, water supply and drainage systems, lighting, trees, rockery and 882 reinforced concrete and granite tombstones.
