Pursuant to Resolution No. 1611/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated April 23, 2025 of the National Assembly Standing Committee, on July 29, 2025, the Minister of National Defense signed Decision No. 3630/QD-BQP on the establishment of the Military Procuracy of the 34th Corps and the Military Procuracy of the 34th Corps region, under the Central Military Procuracy. This is a major policy, demonstrating the deep concern of the Party, the State, the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense and the Supreme People's Procuracy in building and perfecting the organization of the Military Procuracy system, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
At the ceremony, Lieutenant General Ta Quang Khai presented the decisions of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy to appoint Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Trong Nghia - Senior Prosecutor, Deputy Head of the Office for Prosecution and Criminal Trial Supervision of the Central Military Procuracy holds the position of Chief Prosecutor of the Military Procuracy of the 34th Corps; Colonel Duong Thanh Tung - Senior Prosecutor, Head of the Office for Organization and Personnel of the Central Military Procuracy holds the position of Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Military Procuracy of the 34th Corps; Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Thanh Duc - Intermediate Prosecutor, Head of the Office for Supervision of Detention, Temporary Detention, Execution of Sentences and Complaints of the Military Procuracy of Military Region 5 holds the position of Chief Prosecutor of the Military Procuracy of the 34th Corps.
Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Ta Quang Khai affirmed that the establishment of the 34th Corps Military Procuracy and the 34th Corps Regional Military Procuracy has important significance in the work of building and perfecting the judicial system in the Army, contributing to improving the effectiveness of prosecution work, practicing the right to prosecute, maintaining discipline and order, and building a strong and comprehensive "exemplary and typical" 34th Corps.
The Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy believes that the staff and prosecutors of the two levels of the Procuracy will unite, strive, quickly stabilize the organization, excellently complete all assigned tasks, worthy of the trust of the Party Committee, the Command of the 34th Corps and the Supreme People's Procuracy.
