Through many stages of development, from the Viet Hoa ice factory (1960), the predecessor of today's Hanoi-Hai Phong Beer Joint Stock Company, then, soft drink production. Since 1989, the unit boldly shifted to beer production. By 2004, the unit converted to a joint stock company model with a charter capital of 25.5 billion VND. In 2005, the company joined the HABECO system. In 2011, the company moved all production activities from the area of Brewery No. 1 - Lach Tray to Brewery No. 2 - Quan Tru and expanded the production capacity at the factory. From 2011 to present, the unit has invested in modern technology, expanded the capacity to 75 million liters/year, and launched many new products to the market such as: Haiphong Beer, Amber, Silver, Harbour Draft, Harbour Silver...
Overcoming many difficulties and challenges, up to now, the Company has continuously strived, innovated, maintained product quality, consolidated traditional markets and expanded market share in the Northern Coastal region. Thereby, gradually asserting its position in the beer industry in Vietnam with high-quality products, contributing greatly to the state budget, creating many job opportunities for workers.
The company also actively participates in social and charitable activities, pioneering in green production and environmental protection. This is also one of the member companies of HABECO with many innovations and creativity in production, business, market development and improving customer service quality. With its achievements, the company is honored to receive the First, Second, Third Class Labor Medals and many other noble awards...
At the ceremony, the Director of the Department of Industry and Trade and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of HABECO acknowledged and highly appreciated the great achievements that the company's staff and employees have achieved over the past 65 years. At the same time, they emphasized that in the context of increasingly deep economic integration and fierce competition, the company needs to continue to innovate its management thinking, improve production capacity, brand, develop human resources, strengthen corporate culture, invest in green and sustainable development, focusing on continuing to be a leading enterprise in the local food and beverage industry.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade awarded the emulation flag to the Hanoi-Hai Phong Beer Joint Stock Company (under the Hanoi Beer, Alcohol and Beverage Company) for its outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for good workers and building the trade union organization in 2024. The City People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 6 collectives and 4 individuals with achievements in contributing to the process of building and developing the company on the occasion of its 65th founding anniversary. Many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement were commended and rewarded.
