Pha Rung Shipbuilding Company launched the third of 10 ships under construction for Korea.

The 13,000 DWT oil and chemical tankers in the series of 10 ships that Pha Rung Shipbuilding Company Limited signed with the ship owner, Yentec Company (Korea).

YN-03 ship with 13,000 DWT capacity was successfully launched

On the morning of July 24, Pha Rung Shipbuilding One Member Co., Ltd. held a ceremony to cut the steel, lay the keel, put on the slipway and launch 4 oil and chemical ships with a capacity of 13,000 DWT.

In which, cutting of the steel plate of the oil and chemical tanker YN-07; keel laying of the ship YN-06; drydocking of the ship YN-04 and launching of the ship YN-03 were carried out.

The 13,000 DWT oil and chemical tankers in the series of 10 ships that Pha Rung Shipbuilding Company Limited signed with the ship owner, Yentec Company (Korea).

The ships have an overall length of 128.6 m, width of 20.4 m, height of 11.5 m, draft of 8.7 m and were designed by Fesdec (Korea); KR register supervises and classifies.

The organization of cutting the sheet metal, laying the keel, putting on the slipway, and launching the 4 ships is a demonstration of the highest sense of responsibility of all officers, engineers, workers of Pha Rung and partners, contractors, supervisors, and inspectors.

In the coming time, Pha Rung Shipbuilding One Member Co., Ltd. will urgently construct a series of 13,000 DWT oil/chemical tankers to ensure progress and quality, and hand them over to partners as soon as possible.
