Recently, Hai Duong Irrigation Works Exploitation One Member Co., Ltd. has actively coordinated with local authorities to review and handle violations of irrigation works.
As the unit managing and operating the irrigation system, the company requires its affiliated enterprises to regularly inspect and closely monitor the facilities, not to be passive in the face of newly arising violations. For violations occurring before July 1, 2018 (when the Law on Irrigation had not yet come into effect), the company has worked with People's Committees at all levels to assess the level of violation, the impact of the violation on the operation and life of the project to propose appropriate solutions. Violations arising after the Law on Irrigation came into effect will be resolutely and completely handled.
Thanks to that, by the end of 2024, basically all violations of irrigation works under the management of Hai Duong Irrigation Works Exploitation One Member Co., Ltd. will be handled, with only 10 violations of a specific nature remaining, requiring discussion and coordination to thoroughly resolve.
In addition to coordinating the handling of violations, Hai Duong Irrigation Works Exploitation One Member Co., Ltd. has also thoroughly deployed the installation of boundary markers for the protection area of irrigation works. The unit has completed the installation of boundary markers for all 22 main canals to limit and prevent violations within the scope and boundary of irrigation works protection.
11 Irrigation Works Exploitation Enterprises of districts, towns and cities have implemented a plan to sign a commitment not to violate irrigation works with 1,663 organizations and individuals related to 41 canals with a total length of 92 km.
