On May 29th, Ms. Phung Pham Thanh Thuy, director of Da Nang Downtown, announced that starting this June, Asia Park will officially change its brand name to Da Nang Downtown and will be open free of charge to visitors.
Da Nang Downtown (Hai Chau District, Da Nang ) is being redesigned to become an attractive shopping, entertainment, and leisure hub in the heart of Da Nang.
In addition, new recreational activities are being organized here.
This will include a night market with 200 stalls offering a diverse range of Asian and European cuisine , regional dried specialties, souvenirs, handmade goods, and street entertainment shows...
In addition to existing attractions such as the Sun Wheel (one of the top 10 tallest Ferris wheels in the world ) and miniature models of iconic Asian tourist destinations, this organization plans to bring world-class art programs to Da Nang.
Specifically, starting in mid-June, there will be an art program themed "The Sound of the River," featuring extreme sports art such as Jetski & Flyboards combined with music and light on the water.
Besides its modern ambiance, Da Nang Downtown will feature traditional art forms such as "Vietnamese Puppetry," showcasing both dry and water puppetry at the newly built theater with a capacity of 600 seats.
