TPO - Contrary to the lively and bustling atmosphere during the National Day holiday on September 2nd in previous years, Thong Nhat Park, the largest park in the inner city, is sparsely populated with visitors these days.

Thong Nhat Park is one of the largest parks in Hanoi's inner city, covering an area of ​​over 48 hectares, including a lake spanning over 21 hectares. Located in a prime location with four street frontages in the heart of Hai Ba Trung district, the park is considered an important "green lung" that regulates the air and enhances the urban landscape.

Typically, during holidays, Thong Nhat Park is a popular destination for many families.

However, this year, the number of visitors to Thong Nhat Park during the September 2nd holiday has decreased noticeably.

Apart from the children's sandpit near the main gate, other areas were sparsely populated. Most were locals coming to exercise.

A family chose the park as a place to relax.

According to a game manager, the weather was pleasant this holiday season, but not many people came to the park. "Even though two days of the holiday have passed, the number of visitors has decreased significantly compared to previous years," he shared.

Most of the people in the park are local residents who come here daily to exercise.

A representative from Thong Nhat Park One-Member Limited Liability Company stated that this year's holiday season will not see any promotional programs, but will only be decorating the area around the main gate on Tran Nhan Tong Street and the monument with flowers.

It's difficult to estimate the number of visitors to the park now because they stopped selling entrance tickets after the barriers were opened.
