Cristiano Ronaldo has just set another Guinness World Record, but not for an achievement on the football field. Specifically, the Guinness website confirmed that UR Cristiano is the YouTube channel that received the most subscribers in the first 24 hours after its creation.

The official number of followers recorded by Guinness World Records was 19,729,827 after 24 hours of creating the channel.

After more than a week since its creation, as of the morning of August 29th, Cristiano Ronaldo's YouTube channel has over 50 million subscribers. The most viewed clip is the image of Ronaldo showing off his YouTube Gold Play Button, with 46 million views.

Cristiano Ronaldo continues to attract immense media attention despite no longer playing football in Europe. According to Guinness World Records, Ronaldo also holds the record for the most followers on Instagram with 637 million, and was the first person to reach 500 million Instagram followers in November 2022.

Ronaldo's popularity on social media stems in part from his impressive achievements on the pitch. Guinness has previously recognized a series of records set by Ronaldo during his playing career.
