Legend Cristiano Ronaldo sent a congratulatory message to his juniors: "Giants! Congratulations, world champions!"
Striker Anisio Cabral was the one who scored the only goal in the 32nd minute, with a close-range tap-in to help Portugal win the final. This is the first time in history that Portugal has won the U17 World Cup.
